Allah and Elohim - Are They the same God Part - 2

Islam is the fastest growing religion all over the world. In UK many Christian Churches have turned to become Mosques. What is the reason that even many Christian priests and Christians are turning to Islam? Well, I think that the main reason is that they do not have knowledge of the Bible or of the Quran. They do not know what is written in the Bible or in the Quran. Most of them are deceived saying that their God and Allah is the same God, but reality is far-far away from it. I talked to many Muslims in message boards and many converts to Islam. When I asked them why they got converted to Islam, there was no answer at all.

When I insisted to tell their story to know whether they really found truth or not, some of them got very angry and said that it is an insult to ask regarding others faith. Yes, it is insult and shame because even they themselves do not know why they changed their religion.

Let us once again look into the Bible and see whether Allah and Elohim are the same or not.

Let us again go back to Genesis and read few instances. Bible tells us that God spoke to ordinary people those who were not prophets like He spoke to Adam and Eve. When Adam and Eve sinned He came down, walked in the garden and the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?" (Genesis 3:9)

Adam and Eve were not prophets but they were ordinary people.

Again we read in the 4th chapter of Genesis that God spoke to Cain - a murderer of his brother as we read in Genesis 4:9, "Then the LORD said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" He said, "I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?" Cain was not a prophet but a sinner.

Again we read in the 6th chapter of Genesis that God spoke to Noah directing him to make an ark. And God gave all the specifications as to how to make it, what would be its width, length etc. Noah was not a prophet but was a ordinary man.

Now come down to the 12th chapter of Genesis that God spoke to Abraham though the Bible does not consider him as a prophet.

The 16th chapter of Genesis says that God spoke to Hagar and of course Hagar was not a prophetess. And the list goes on. From Genesis to Revelation we see that God wants to talk to us and to have fellowship with us no matter we are prophets or not. He wants to come down and walk with us. He wants to live in our homes and guide us and lead us in everything.

But contrary to it Mohammed never heard the voice of God.

Whenever he spoke, he spoke to the so called angel Gabriel. I never read of any prophet in the Bible who never heard the voice of God or who never spoke to God.

Let us see who a prophet is:

A prophet is a mouthpiece of God. A prophet is a man or woman who can touch the heart of God and bring message of God for people, for himself/herself, for his family and friends, for his community, for his nation and for the whole world. Take the example of Moses. Whenever people complained to Moses, Moses went to God and asked and brought a message for them from God. This is a prophet who brings a heavenly solution for people. If a person thinks he/she is a prophet and never heard the voice of God then how is it possible that he/she can be a prophet?

Moses and the Israelites were standing at the brink of the Red sea and the Egyptian army was following them. From both sides they saw nothing but death. In that situation they desperately needed a heavenly solution. Moses says to the Israelites in Exodus 14:13-14, "And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. "The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace."

And we read in Exodus 14:15-16, "And the LORD said to Moses, "Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. "But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea."

Yes, a prophet brings heavenly solution and heavenly word from God for people. Again we read in Exo 15:23-25, "Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people complained against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink?" So he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet. There He made a statute and an ordinance for them. And there He tested them," When people complained to Moses and said, "we do not have water to drink because it is bitter water," immediately Moses went and asked God what to do now? And the Lord God showed him a tree and when he cast it in to the waters, they could drink that water. Yes, this is a prophet who brings the exact word from God for a particular situation and tells people what to do.

But contrary to it we do not see any of these qualities in Mohammed. God never spoke to Mohammed and also he never brought any heavenly solution for anybody. Again this proves that God of the Bible and Allah are different and their qualities are totally different and their messages are totally contradictory to each other. If they are the same God then they should agree with each other and show the same qualities and give the same message.
